Principal Site Reliability Engineer, Machine Learning
Tasks
- Automate maintenance tasks to reduce toil
- Configure Unity Catalog and IAM policies
- Define alerts aligned to SLOs
- Drive systemic remediation
- Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Lead incident response and run blameless postmortems
- Maintain EC2 and EKS infrastructure updates and upgrades
- Maintain observability with CloudWatch and Datadog
- Maintain operational health of Ray clusters
- Manage Databricks on AWS
- Operate and tune EKS Ray workloads
- Orchestrate Databricks jobs
- Own SLOs and error budgets
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Perform cost visibility cost optimization and capacity planning
- Set up CI CD pipelines for infrastructure changes
- Use EC2 capacity reservations and spot lifecycle
