Principal Software Engineer – PyTorch Training Frameworks
Tasks
- Collaborate with ROCm compiler runtime kernel driver teams for bottleneck resolution
- Contribute to upstream PyTorch design discussions and code contributions
- Debug training performance DDP FSDP gradient checkpointing mixed precision memory planning
- Develop training benchmarks profiling workflows performance regression detection
- Engage with customers on training enablement root cause analysis and best practices
- Investigate performance regressions and correctness issues across teams
- Lead PyTorch training framework performance scalability reliability
- Mentor engineers on framework quality and performance engineering
- Optimize PyTorch training workloads on single node and multi node systems
