Tasks
- Advise on HR requirements and prepare offer letters
- Advise on disciplinary actions and confidential matters
- Consult on HR matters and employee relations
- Coordinate documentation with Office of International Services
- Coordinate search procedures interviews and approvals
- Maintain job descriptions in JDXpert and Handshake
- Manage full-cycle recruitment
- Manage onboarding and welcome employees
- Manage visa sponsorship processes
- Oversee employment processes for faculty and staff
- Oversee payroll processes and timesheet approvals
- Process HR transactions for hires reappointments and separations
- Process Leaves of Absence
- Serve as liaison with university HR payroll benefits and equity units
- Stay current on university state and federal regulations
- Support payroll reconciliations and adjustments
- Train new hires on payroll procedures and leave reporting
