Senior BI Platform and Analytics Engineer
Tasks
- Administer Power BI Service Power BI Gateway SSAS Tabular and SSRS
- Analyze migration dependencies refactor artifacts and validate accuracy performance and access controls
- Build and support Power BI datasets dashboards reports and paginated reports
- Collaborate with identity security and infrastructure teams for Azure AD governance
- Define promote BI standards governance frameworks architecture patterns and best practices
- Design and maintain semantic models and SSAS Tabular models
- Develop PowerShell and Power Automate automation for deployment monitoring alerting and workflow automation
- Develop maintain and support enterprise BI solutions
- Integrate BI solutions with data warehouses Azure Data Lake and Power BI Dataflows
- Lead Power BI tenant to tenant migrations
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
- Mentor team members and support workload planning
- Monitor troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis
- Own BI platform installation configuration administration patching monitoring lifecycle management
- Plan design architecture oversee development QA deployment and user training
- Provide after hours support when required
- Standardize operational processes and drive automation initiatives
