Robotics Software Engineer
Tasks
- Build motion planning control and trajectory generation
- Build simulation environments for development and testing
- Conduct field tests and collect data
- Design and integrate sensor data pipelines
- Develop behavioral systems with state machines or behavior trees
- Develop robotics software in C++ and Python
- Implement perception localization and mapping algorithms
- Implement safety critical patterns with watchdogs fault detection and safe stops
- Integrate ROS or ROS 2 with custom hardware
- Maintain technical documentation and runbooks
- Mentor junior engineers through code and design review
