Robotics Software Engineer
Tasks
- Build behavioral systems using state machines behavior trees and task planners
- Build simulation environments for development and testing
- Conduct field tests and perform data collection and analysis
- Design and integrate sensor data pipelines
- Develop robotics software in C++ and Python
- Evaluate emerging robotics technologies and frameworks
- Implement motion planning control and trajectory generation
- Implement perception localization and mapping algorithms
- Implement safety critical patterns including fault detection and safe stops
- Integrate ROS and ROS 2 with custom hardware
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
- Mentor engineers through code review and design review
