Senior Accountant, Inventory & Fulfillment

Tasks

• Account for landed costs and allocate standards
• Analyze fulfillment and outbound shipping costs and vendors
• Analyze goods in transit and COGS
• Analyze inventory aging and excess and obsolete inventory
• Analyze inventory purchase price and landed cost variances
• Build ad hoc reports for monthly analysis
• Compare actuals versus budget
• Develop total landed cost for new SKUs
• Document processes and automate daily accounting
• Maintain average inventory costs for SKUs
• Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies
• Perform monthly inventory close
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation
• Provide insights on inventory levels and turns
• Reconcile general ledger to subledgers
• Strengthen internal controls for inventory accuracy
• Support forecasting and budgeting for inventory and costs
• Track weekly COGS and fulfillment costs
• Validate inventory purchases and variance drivers
