- Define multi year engineering strategy and roadmap
- Drive reliability engineering and service health metrics
- Drive technical direction for storage platform
- Ensure delivery accountability for preview and GA launches
- Establish engineering excellence standards
- Improve scalability durability availability and performance
- Lead and scale multi team storage engineering org
- Lead sustaining engineering technical debt reduction and modernization
- Manage organizational design headcount and talent strategy
- Optimize storage economics hardware utilization and capacity planning
- Partner with product and infrastructure leadership
- Recruit retain and develop senior engineering talent
- Represent engineering org and act as escalation point
