- Design and maintain high availability disaster recovery
- Drive continual service improvement
- Enforce database security access control encryption
- Ensure SLA KPI OLA compliance
- Ensure backup restore and disaster recovery
- Ensure compliance and support audits security assessments
- Ensure database uptime performance stability
- Escalate complex database incidents
- Establish and enforce DBA best practices
- Lead new service onboarding and transitions
- Maintain runbooks SOPs technical documentation
- Manage enterprise databases
- Manage vulnerability remediation patching
- Mentor and guide DBAs
- Monitor and optimize database performance
- Oversee routine DBA activities
- Own database service delivery
- Participate in service reviews audits governance
- Perform root cause analysis
- Perform technical feasibility analysis
- Plan and execute database changes
- Provide pre sales effort estimates risk assessments
- Provide preventive recommendations
