Senior PostgreSQL Database Engineer, RDS
Tasks
- Collaborate with developers and product managers
- Conduct design discussions and code reviews
- Create metrics and automation
- Design and implement PostgreSQL features
- Drive end to end test scenarios
- Extend expertise to other database engines
- Handle customer escalations and teach best practices
- Improve performance of managed database service
- Resolve root cause issues
- Submit feature and bug fix code to open source
