Senior SIEM Data Engineer, Vice President
Tasks
- Analyze source log formats and define onboarding requirements
- Automate deployment monitoring alerting validation and pipeline testing
- Deliver security telemetry to Splunk and Databricks
- Design and support Databricks data engineering patterns
- Design build and maintain SIEM security telemetry pipelines
- Establish SIEM onboarding standards and taxonomy alignment
- Lead onboarding of security telemetry sources
- Maintain onboarding standards documentation runbooks and data flow diagrams
- Mentor engineers and promote security telemetry best practices
- Optimize pipelines to reduce noise and ingestion cost
- Parse filter mask enrich normalize and route telemetry events
- Provide operational support escalation and root cause analysis
- Troubleshoot complex ingestion and data flow issues
- Validate telemetry data quality freshness completeness correctness and latency
