Tasks
- Act as technical point of contact for storage features and issues
- Collaborate with hardware validation and dependent software teams
- Contribute to Linux kernel storage subsystems
- Define storage feature requirements and success metrics
- Design develop and support device drivers and storage frameworks
- Develop file systems and flash management layers
- Drive Linux upstream and open source contributions
- Drive storage software architecture and design
- Ensure software quality across the software development life cycle
- Guide storage performance scalability reliability and power optimization
- Influence hardware firmware and software design decisions
- Lead failure triage root cause analysis and system debugging
- Lead storage architecture innovation
- Optimize storage performance and endurance with flash algorithms
- Plan prioritize and track project execution and risks
- Provide technical mentorship and engineering guidance
- Use debugfs ftrace and blktrace for kernel instrumentation
