- Automate catalog configuration and table maintenance
- Automate deployment without downtime
- Build and test multi stage Docker images
- Configure CI/CD pipelines
- Create dashboards and alerts
- Develop ETL ELT pipelines to Iceberg
- Handle on-call incident response
- Implement streaming data components with Kafka or Pulsar or Kinesis
- Instrument services with OpenTelemetry
- Maintain Iceberg catalog synchronization
- Manage Iceberg schema changes and partitions
- Monitor data freshness and job success rates
- Operate Apache Iceberg tables
- Perform container vulnerability scanning
- Perform root cause analysis and post-mortems
- Provision clusters with Ansible and Python
- Run Docker Compose local test environments
- Set up monitoring with Prometheus Grafana and Loki
- Support security and compliance controls
- Track query response times
