Sr. Staff Engineer, Data Center
Tasks
- Collaborate with capacity planning and network operations teams
- Conduct electrical mechanical root cause analyses
- Conduct technical due diligence for colocation leases
- Define power cooling capacity and redundancy compliance
- Develop data center design standards basis of design
- Develop operational readiness and failure response procedures
- Develop resiliency redundancy models for power cooling failover
- Lead commissioning and integrated systems testing
- Lead data center site selection and technical evaluation
- Lead liquid cooling deployment strategy
- Maintain as built documentation and technical records
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs
- Oversee data center design construction and retrofits
- Perform electrical mechanical calculations and analyses
- Provide mentorship and advanced technical training
- Qualify electrical mechanical systems equipment and components
- Review maintenance notifications methods of procedure and change events
- Translate technical analysis into executive communications
