Tasks
- Align Databricks config with enterprise cloud standards
- Capture metadata for platform operations
- Create platform templates for domain onboarding
- Define CI CD standards for platform assets
- Design job orchestration and cluster policies
- Document platform standards and support models
- Enforce data segregation and access boundaries
- Ensure observable recoverable cost aware ingestion patterns
- Implement logging conventions and job tagging
- Manage environment promotion dev to prod
- Mentor engineers on platform operations
- Monitor and alert platform services
- Own platform operations for Databricks
- Set compute and job policies for reliability
- Support incident response and runbooks
- Track platform health metrics
- Use service principals and secure execution patterns
