Tasks
- Architect PostgreSQL schemas
- Build observability dashboards and alerts
- Debug production issues end to end
- Define backend and database best practices
- Design backend services and APIs
- Handle secure credential management backups
- Manage PostgreSQL on AWS RDS and Aurora
- Monitor latency connections storage replication lag
- Optimize queries and indexes
- Own end to end service performance
- Resolve slow queries lock contention deadlocks connection exhaustion
- Run zero downtime migrations
- Set up streaming replication and failover
- Tune vacuum autovacuum and storage
