Senior Electrical Engineer (BESS/Storage) (onsite, remote option)
Tasks
- Assess new and existing battery technologies applicability
- Bridge conceptual engineering to field execution
- Develop and optimize BESS sizing methodologies calculators assumptions and tools
- Evaluate batteries power conversion systems inverters transformers switchgear cables grounding protection controls auxiliary power systems
- Lead engineering teams
- Oversee energy infrastructure projects
- Perform technical assessments design reviews compliance verifications
- Plan organize and manage engineering projects
- Review one line diagrams equipment specifications electrical calculations design drawings technical studies
- Review sizing results identify risks and provide recommendations
- Supervise engineers design development permitting compliance
- Support BESS sizing optimization end to end
- Support project management negotiations performance tracking and reporting
- Support utility scale solar BESS and power plant operations
