Tasks
- Analyze process improvement opportunities for efficiency and productivity
- Apply Lean methodologies and tools
- Assist with operational policies and procedures and enforce quality control
- Build and lead a team to execute business area objectives
- Coach and provide feedback to improve skills and performance
- Collaborate with area operations managers to optimize capacity
- Conduct performance and career development conversations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain team motivation and engagement
- Manage product sorting and order accuracy
- Mentor area managers
- Monitor team performance against key performance indicators
- Oversee inbound unloading receiving hauling and stocking
- Oversee job related activities and assignments for stakeholders
- Oversee outbound inventory report review and verification
- Oversee outbound pick pack and ship for assigned shift
- Partner with human resources maintenance and ICQA teams
- Plan and manage budget for assigned areas
- Provide feedback to area managers
- Recommend staffing and workload levels
- Verify incoming inventory reports and relay findings
