Senior Systems Engineer (AWS Data Engineer)
Tasks
- Apply Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK CloudFormation or Terraform
- Architect XML object store migration path to AWS platform
- Build and maintain AWS data catalog schemas and metadata management
- Collaborate with C# .NET engineer for EDI pipeline integration
- Design reporting and query layer for SQL based reporting
- Document architecture decisions data flows and data dictionaries
- Evaluate and select AWS data strategy
- Implement and maintain CI CD pipelines for data infrastructure
- Implement migration from MSSQL XML object store to AWS cloud native data architecture
- Lead healthcare data platform modernization
- Optimize query performance and cost across AWS services
- Translate reporting requirements into data models and query patterns
