Tasks
- Architect design and implement Oracle databases on AWS RDS
- Coordinate major incident resolution
- Design and support disaster recovery using backups snapshots multi AZ cross region
- Develop review and optimize PL SQL and SQL code
- Implement database security controls TDE data masking redaction fine grained auditing access governance
- Lead production escalations and incident resolution
- Manage distributed DBA engineering team
- Monitor analyze and optimize database performance
- Participate in production support on call rotations and incident escalations
- Perform Oracle database migrations to AWS RDS
- Provide day to day operations leadership
- Resolve complex issues across dependencies
- Support database releases and engineering initiatives
- Use AWR ASH and performance insights for tuning
