Senior Python Engineer, Geospatial Data Platform (Fully Remote)
Tasks
- Build data engineering and machine learning workflows on Databricks
- Build event driven systems with Kafka and publish subscribe
- Create automated tests with pytest and TDD
- Design and build production APIs and microservices
- Develop Python services with async and type hints
- Develop secure OAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect and JWT authentication
- Ensure service reliability, performance, and security
- Implement RESTful API design with OpenAPI
- Implement structured logging and monitoring
- Integrate Neo4j for graph data modelling and Cypher optimization
- Model domain using Domain Driven Design bounded contexts aggregates repositories
- Process geospatial and temporal data
- Set up CI CD pipelines with GitHub Actions GitLab CI or Azure DevOps
