- Create and secure SMB file shares
- Design scalable enterprise storage architectures
- Develop and maintain storage engineering documentation
- Develop disaster recovery and continuity plans
- Develop logical and physical storage architectures
- Engineer lifecycle replacement strategies
- Execute system changes during maintenance windows
- Install configure and administer enterprise storage systems
- Mentor junior team members
- Monitor infrastructure health and availability
- Monitor performance and capacity trends
- Optimize storage availability performance and capacity
- Perform storage modernization trade studies
- Provision NFS exports and mount shares
- Resolve tier 2 and tier 3 service requests
- Schedule and monitor volume replication
- Work with vendors to resolve hardware and software failures
