Data Platforms Manager
Tasks
- Architect CI/CD workflows
- Automate build install configure maintain cloud database platforms
- Conduct security assessments risk evaluations and compliance remediation
- Coordinate with teams deliver high quality software solutions
- Create and maintain terraform modules
- Design implement support scalable secure cloud database solutions
- Develop maintain automated database deployment pipelines
- Diagnose resolve cloud incidents outages and bottlenecks
- Implement IAM access control encryption and network security
- Lead and coach database engineers
- Maintain cloud database infrastructure documentation runbooks SOPs diagrams
- Maintain database observability logs metrics alerts capacity planning
- Migrate on premises databases to cloud with minimal downtime
- Monitor performance, availability, and cost
- Optimize cloud resources to reduce expenses
- Patch and manage vulnerabilities with configuration management
- Provide production on call rotation leadership during high severity incidents
- Provision manage AWS resources with infrastructure as code
