Power BI Archtiect
Tasks
- Analyze data quality issues affecting models and reporting
- Assess data needs and design enterprise semantic model
- Build reporting capability using Analysis Services on premises or Azure
- Coordinate technical design sessions with business stakeholders
- Design tabular models for business user consumption
- Implement user authentication and data access security in Analysis Services
- Optimize tabular models for use in other BI tools
- Participate in code reviews with clients
- Performance tune tabular models for large datasets
- Replace legacy BI solutions with tabular models using DAX
- Select In Memory models or DirectQuery
- Support and train team members on tabular model methodology and DAX
- Write complex DAX scripts for Power BI KPIs
