AI / BI Data Engineer (Offshore)
Tasks
- Apply data quality rules validation and reconciliation
- Build production data workflows
- Collaborate with business and system teams to translate requirements
- Create curated datasets and semantic domains
- Design analytical data models star schema and grain keys relationships
- Design data pipelines
- Develop Power BI semantic models datasets and reports
- Document pipelines transformations models and lineage
- Enable AI assisted analytics with well modeled datasets
- Enforce Azure RBAC access control
- Ensure consistent KPI definitions and business rules
- Implement logging monitoring and observability
- Implement medallion lakehouse transformations
- Ingest and integrate data from ERP and CRM
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows
- Optimize pipeline performance reliability and cost
- Participate in CI/CD releases
- Troubleshoot Power BI refresh reliability and model performance
- Use LLM tools for code scaffolding and documentation and ensure reviewed tested outputs
