Tasks
- Author and deploy dbt jobs with Databricks Asset Bundles
- Build dbt models for staging intermediate and mart layers
- Define modeling and architecture standards
- Design and build data pipelines
- Develop and unit test Python data modules
- Implement data modeling for data marts
- Implement data quality checks
- Lead end to end pipeline ownership
- Maintain and scale data pipelines
- Maintain data governance with dbt tests and documentation
- Manage dbt project structure
- Mentor engineers through code reviews
- Operate secure production deployments
- Participate in hiring panels
- Run cross repository exposure checks
- Write SQL for dimensional modeling
