Principal Performance Engineer (Database & AI Benchmarking)
Tasks
- Benchmark and optimize AI inference and model serving
- Build repeatable benchmark environments
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams on performance goals
- Create dashboards and reports for performance regression detection
- Design and execute database benchmarks
- Develop benchmark tooling and automation
- Establish performance standards for test hygiene and statistical rigor
- Evaluate throughput latency concurrency scalability and stability
- Identify bottlenecks and recommend fixes
- Measure and optimize GPU and CPU inference pipelines
