Lead Embedded Firmware Engineer – Residential Gateways (prplOS & Wireless)
Tasks
- Build automated testing and unit testing frameworks
- Configure and manage containerized microservices
- Debug memory leaks and race conditions
- Design hardware agnostic gateway firmware
- Develop IPC services with ubus and iMTP
- Develop firmware in C and C plus plus
- Develop wireless features for Wi Fi 6E and Wi Fi 7
- Implement SoC abstraction with prpl APIs
- Implement device management with TR 181 and USP TR 369
- Integrate and optimize wireless stack components
- Lead embedded firmware architecture
- Manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking stacks
- Manage firmware release pipelines with Git
- Own Linux wireless architecture
- Profile and optimize system performance
