Grid Integration Engineer - Battery Storage
Tasks
- Automate data processing study workflows and case management using Python
- Conduct steady state transmission analysis using TARA or related software
- Develop data driven tools screening methods and dashboards
- Evaluate large load and data center interconnection opportunities
- Identify network upgrade risks and mitigation pathways
- Monitor transmission planning and queue reform developments
- Participate in interconnection scoping meetings
- Provide technical guidance to internal teams on upgrade risk and market processes
- Review utility ISO and consultant study results
- Support analysis for transmission service requests
- Support technical due diligence on transmission and interconnection constraints
- Track stakeholder initiatives tariff changes and policy developments
- Use AI tools to improve workflow speed and research
