Tasks
- Architect SAN NAS object and software defined storage strategies
- Architect backup and recovery platforms
- Automate provisioning and compliance with infrastructure as code
- Define data retention archival and immutability strategies
- Design and test disaster recovery architectures
- Design data encryption at rest and in transit
- Design storage architectures for BFSI workloads
- Drive ransomware recovery readiness
- Enable cloud native storage tiering and lifecycle management
- Establish storage performance baselines monitoring and capacity forecasting
- Execute BCP drills DR testing and failover simulations
- Govern enterprise storage standards and reference architectures
- Implement high availability and fault tolerant storage solutions
- Implement secure key management and data sovereignty controls
- Integrate storage with hybrid and cloud environments
- Lead storage modernization and technology refresh programs
- Mentor engineers and act as final escalation authority
- Optimize backup performance and restore SLAs
- Support audit readiness and compliance reviews
- Troubleshoot performance latency and data corruption issues
