Tasks
- Build resilient scalable cost efficient telemetry pipelines
- Coach engineers and technical leads
- Conduct architecture reviews for onboarding
- Define and execute observability roadmap
- Define and measure platform KPIs
- Drive AI enabled observability initiatives
- Establish engineering standards and platform guardrails
- Establish telemetry cost transparency chargeback and showback
- Implement automation first self service using Infrastructure as Code and CI CD
- Implement metadata driven routing and governance
- Lead and develop observability pipeline team
- Lead incident response and post incident learning
- Manage vendor relationships and technical partnerships
- Own telemetry ingestion transformation enrichment routing retention analytics
- Partner with SRE infrastructure security data and product teams
- Provide executive reporting for operational health
