- Configure SMS rules and ACS routines
- Maintain storage performance tuning and environment configuration
- Manage DASD volumes and tape volume space management
- Manage backup and restore procedures
- Manage storage replication and copy services
- Meet SLA and ensure process compliance
- Perform DASD and tape data migration
- Perform business impact analysis and risk assessments
- Plan disaster recovery and execute recovery tests
- Provide mainframe storage technical support
