Staff Analytics Engineer, Data Platform
Tasks
- Arbitrate KPI definitions with stakeholders
- Build canonical metric models
- Build reverse ETL pipelines
- Define semantic layer entities and metrics
- Design client side and server side event strategy
- Design query guardrails and authorization layer
- Enable self serve analytics dashboards
- Ensure GDPR compliant consent flows
- Expose data through MCPs semantic APIs and text to SQL
- Implement CDC and batch ingestion
- Implement column level security
- Implement data access governance with IAM
- Implement row level security
- Monitor data freshness and failures
- Optimize data ingestion patterns
- Own event taxonomy and tracking governance
- Publish ingestion SLAs and failure SLAs
- Standardize versioned data transformations
