Tasks
- Administer nonintravenous medications
- Change wound dressings
- Collect specimens using noninvasive techniques
- Complete mandatory training
- Conduct telephone and in person screening for intake information
- Coordinate patient care with physicians and policies
- Follow infection control precautions
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
- Obtain wound cultures
- Perform EKGs
- Perform simple diagnostic equipment quality control checks
- Perform venipuncture
- Prepare sterilize medical equipment
- Provide patient care support
- Record patient care documentation in medical record
- Remove staples from superficial wounds
- Room patients for examination
- Support standard delegation of orders
