Principal Software Systems Engineer (Embedded Flight Systems)
Tasks
- Assess technical risk and support mitigation planning
- Coordinate sprint planning backlog refinement reviews retrospectives and release planning
- Decompose system requirements into software requirements
- Define software interfaces for embedded avionics sensors payloads actuators buses and ground systems
- Develop architecture with timing fault handling determinism
- Develop integrated embedded flight software solutions
- Develop verification strategies test methods and acceptance criteria
- Lead agile execution model for mission critical software
- Maintain requirements traceability
- Manage integration points dependencies and delivery risks
- Participate in SRR PDR CDR TRR
- Support hardware software integration in labs testbeds and flight like environments
- Troubleshoot software firmware interfaces and electronics root cause
