Senior Director, AI Engineering, Enabling Units
Tasks
- Build and lead multi disciplinary engineering organization
- Define modular reusable AI platform architecture
- Define standards for model serving data pipelines APIs security observability and MLOps
- Drive experimentation from prototype to pilot to production
- Drive reuse and knowledge sharing across the enterprise
- Embed governance by design with model registration and data and model cards
- Ensure compliance with EU AI Act GDPR HIPAA and SOX
- Ensure data governance lineage and reuse across regulated domains
- Implement responsible AI including fairness testing explainability and decision audit trails
- Integrate with ERP CLM procurement and GRC platforms
- Lead AI engineering strategy for enabling functions
- Make build versus buy decisions for AI models and platform selection
- Manage technical risk across model data dependency and integration
- Orchestrate delivery with internal teams and external technology partners
- Own data engineering strategy for AI pipelines feature stores and data products
- Own end to end engineering delivery to production deployment
- Partner with EA IT to leverage enterprise platforms and shared services
- Represent enabling functions in enterprise AI engineering forums and governance
- Set engineering culture standards for code quality testing and documentation
- Translate engineering complexity for C suite stakeholders
