Tasks
- Architect backup and recovery platforms
- Architect high availability and fault tolerant storage solutions
- Automate provisioning and compliance using infrastructure as code
- Conduct BCP drills and failover simulations
- Define SAN NAS object and software defined storage strategies
- Define data retention archival and immutability strategies
- Define storage monitoring and performance baselines
- Design and test disaster recovery architectures
- Design encryption at rest and in transit
- Design enterprise storage architectures
- Enable ransomware recovery readiness
- Ensure BFSI regulatory compliance
- Establish proactive capacity forecasting
- Govern storage standards and reference architectures
- Implement cloud native storage tiering and lifecycle management
- Implement key management for secure storage
- Integrate storage with hybrid cloud environments
- Lead storage modernization capacity planning and technology refresh
- Optimize backup performance and restore SLAs
- Serve as final escalation authority and mentor engineers
- Support audit readiness and compliance reviews
- Troubleshoot storage performance latency and data corruption
