Systems Engineer - Robotics & Electrical Systems
Tasks
- Conduct design risk assessments DFMEA HARA
- Define electrical power controls communications safety requirements
- Develop machine control systems closed loop control
- Develop proofs of concept and early prototypes
- Identify resolve system level integration issues through structured problem solving
- Integrate PCBA and controller hardware
- Integrate and test communication interfaces CAN RS-232 Ethernet USB
- Integrate electrical systems wiring harness connectors cable routing
- Integrate embedded software hardware interfaces
- Maintain system artifacts requirements interface definitions verification documentation
- Participate in design reviews provide subsystem input
- Perform electrical controls troubleshooting
- Perform root cause analysis
- Support manufacturing launch assembly test support
- Support regulatory compliance testing UL IEC EMC
- Support system requirements decomposition allocation verification
- Support verification and validation with requirements traceability
