Senior Staff Software Engineer (AI/ML)
Tasks
- Build monitoring for data drift model performance decay and pipeline health
- Build production machine learning models for fraud anomaly detection risk scoring and ranking
- Build responsible AI into the ML lifecycle with governance artifacts
- Create reference architectures for batch scoring near real time decisioning personalization and customer intelligence
- Define non functional requirements for AI ML systems
- Define retraining triggers and human in the loop workflows
- Design offline evaluation backtesting and stability strategies
- Drive build vs buy decisions for ML platforms and tools
- Ensure privacy by design for UK EU environments
- Establish ML engineering standards for CI CD reproducibility and model governance
- Establish reusable engineering patterns and golden paths
- Implement secure by design practices for AI services
- Lead architecture reviews for technical and executive audiences
- Lead end to end AI ML architecture
- Mentor engineers and data scientists on production ML
- Optimize production inference latency feature compute time and model robustness
- Partner with stakeholders to define success metrics and quantify ROI
- Produce model cards data documentation validation reports and audit logs
- Raise org quality through standards design reviews and coaching
- Run online experimentation and online learning
