Tasks
- Automate database provisioning and operations
- Implement database security access control encryption and auditing
- Implement high availability replication and automated failover
- Install and configure database clusters
- Maintain operational runbooks and documentation
- Manage backups and disaster recovery
- Monitor databases and handle alerts
- Operate enterprise database platforms
- Perform upgrades migrations and patching
- Resolve incidents during on call rotations
- Run disaster recovery drills and validate RTO RPO
- Tune database performance and indexing
