Senior Looker Developer — Analytics Migration & Delivery
Tasks
- Architect scalable LookML structures
- Assess data quality and manage data sources
- Build reusable Looker patterns and accelerators
- Collaborate on BigQuery data model design and optimization
- Collaborate with client IT and data engineering to resolve issues
- Conduct requirements analysis for migration
- Create documentation review checklists and training materials
- Develop LookML models views explores and dashboards
- Document deviations and get business owner approvals
- Lead legacy report migration to Looker
- Maintain migration tracker and provide weekly status
- Onboard new Looker developers
- Optimize Looker report and query performance
- Perform code reviews and enforce standards
- Support UAT and obtain signoff
- Support data governance security and access control in Looker
- Tune PDTs and improve dashboard load times
- Validate migrated reports against source data
