- Architect SAN NAS object storage and SDS strategies
- Architect enterprise backup and recovery platforms
- Define data retention archival and WORM strategies
- Design and test disaster recovery architectures
- Design data encryption at rest and in transit
- Design enterprise storage architectures
- Design high availability and fault tolerant storage solutions
- Drive infrastructure as code for provisioning and compliance
- Enable cloud native storage tiering and lifecycle management
- Ensure BFSI regulatory compliance
- Establish storage performance baselines and monitoring
- Govern storage standards and reference architectures
- Implement ransomware recovery readiness
- Integrate storage platforms with hybrid cloud environments
- Lead storage modernization and technology refresh programs
- Mentor L2 L3 engineers
- Optimize backup performance and restore SLAs
- Provide final escalation authority for storage incidents
- Support BCP drills and failover simulations
- Support audit readiness and compliance reviews
- Troubleshoot storage performance latency and data corruption issues
