Lead Embedded Firmware Engineer – Residential Gateways (prplOS & Wireless)
Tasks
- Configure and manage containerized microservices using Docker and prpl LCM
- Design Wi Fi 6E and Wi Fi 7 features
- Design and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network stacks
- Develop IPC services using ubus or iMTP
- Develop firmware in C and C++
- Implement automated testing and unit testing frameworks
- Implement device management data models including TR 181 and USP TR 369
- Lead embedded firmware architecture
- Maintain SoC agnostic implementations using prpl APIs
- Manage source code branching and release pipelines with Git
- Own Linux wireless architecture
- Profile and optimize memory and CPU performance
