Site Reliability Engineer - Big Data (7 to 11 years)
Tasks
- Collaborate with development teams on reliability practices
- Design and implement automation for big data infrastructure
- Design and review scalable, reliable system architectures
- Develop and enforce SRE best practices
- Develop tools and scripts to automate operations
- Enforce security standards across systems
- Integrate reliability scalability and performance into software development lifecycle
- Lead on-call rotations and incident response
- Manage and maintain Linux/Unix environments
- Monitor resource usage and tune performance
- Optimize system performance with monitoring and capacity planning
- Perform root cause analysis and postmortems
- Respond to outages and prevent recurrence
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement mitigations
