Associate Director, RDU IT Data Engineering
Tasks
- Build reusable components for golden paths with best practices
- Deploy Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Design and build cloud native ELT ETL data pipelines
- Develop scalable cost efficient and resilient data products
- Ensure GDPR HIPAA and FAIR alignment
- Implement batch micro batch and event driven integrations
- Implement data quality frameworks with anomaly and drift detection
- Instrument pipelines with metrics logs and traces
- Mentor engineers on modern data engineering and responsible AI
- Operationalize data governance privacy controls with RBAC PBAC encryption and retention
- Optimize queries and infer data schemas and mappings
- Tune Snowflake warehouses queries and dbt models for performance and cost
- Use AI copilots to generate SQL Python dbt code and tests
