Sr. Lead Data Engineer

Tasks
- Automate scheduled reporting and near real time dashboards
- Define and govern SLIs SLOs and error budgets
- Deliver self service reporting with RBAC
- Ensure backup restore posture and DR testing
- Escalate risks early with data driven recommendations
- Implement data contracts and validation rules
- Lead weekly reliability reviews and monthly leadership reviews
- Maintain end to end data lineage to KPIs
- Mentor junior data engineers and researchers
- Own reliability and performance of analytics pipelines
- Perform anomaly detection and reconciliation
- Produce capacity forecasts and performance budgets
- Report service team and environment spend
- Track deployment frequency change failure rate lead time and rollbacks
- Track unit economics and rightsizing opportunities
- Validate metrics lineage and audit readiness
