Embedded Software Engineer– Technical Lead
Tasks
- Architect firmware integrated with custom hardware sensors and control systems
- Communicate technical concepts tradeoffs risks and status to stakeholders
- Create maintainable well documented firmware and low level software
- Develop and maintain embedded device drivers and communication stacks
- Ensure real-time performance, reliability, and safety
- Establish embedded software processes and best practices
- Lead embedded and firmware system design and development
- Lead technical design reviews and roadmap planning
- Manage software configuration management and repeatable workflows
- Mentor and coach engineers on embedded architecture and debugging
- Perform board level debugging and root cause analysis
- Review schematics and PCB layouts for firmware integration risks
- Write review and optimize RTOS based firmware
