Senior Software Engineer - ETL
Tasks
- Analyze and optimize PostgreSQL queries using execution plans and Datadog metrics
- Build and optimize Python ETL ELT pipelines for data ingestion and transformation
- Create dashboards alerts and KPIs in Datadog for warehouse health
- Design and evolve data warehouse architecture for analytics and reporting
- Enforce data quality consistency and governance
- Ensure ETL jobs efficiency reliability and monitoring
- Implement indexing partitioning and query rewrites for performance improvements
- Mentor engineers on SQL optimization data modeling and ETL best practices
- Perform root cause analysis for performance issues and production incidents
- Tune PostgreSQL configuration for analytical workloads
