M01 - Cloud Logging & Data Platform Engineer
Tasks
- Build CI CD pipelines for build test deployment configuration
- Build event driven and streaming data pipelines
- Build log ingestion and enrichment pipelines
- Build shared data platform ingestion storage processing querying serving
- Conduct incident investigation and post incident reviews
- Define SLOs and operational health indicators
- Define data contracts and schemas
- Define structured logging standards and schemas
- Design infrastructure as code and automate deployments
- Design logging platform capabilities
- Design retention and lifecycle policies
- Design scalable storage and query architectures
- Design secure data movement between environments
- Enable telemetry correlation across logs metrics events traces
- Enforce security governance access controls encryption and authentication
- Implement audit trail preservation and retention controls
- Implement buffering retry backpressure and recovery
- Implement log storage indexing search and retrieval
- Implement monitoring alerting and failure recovery
- Integrate legacy systems with cloud-native platforms
- Maintain runbooks documentation and operational procedures
- Provide APIs and query interfaces for data consumers
