Tasks
- Architect SAN NAS and object storage strategies
- Architect backup and recovery platforms
- Automate storage provisioning with infrastructure as code
- Define data retention archival and WORM immutability strategies
- Design and test disaster recovery for multi region environments
- Design encryption at rest and in transit with key management
- Design enterprise storage architecture
- Design high availability and fault tolerant storage
- Enable cloud native storage tiering and lifecycle management
- Ensure RBI SEBI IRDAI PCI DSS ISO 27001 SOC2 and GDPR compliance
- Establish storage performance monitoring and capacity forecasting
- Govern storage standards and reference architectures
- Integrate storage with hybrid cloud environments
- Lead storage escalations and mentor engineers
- Plan storage modernization and capacity
- Run backup restore SLAs and ransomware recovery readiness
- Support audit readiness and compliance reviews
- Troubleshoot performance latency and data corruption issues
